Lívia Aparecida Paixão mulher, negra,

mãe-solo de duas crianças

(de 2 anos e 7 anos),

moradora da periferia de São Paulo,

tem surdez profunda bilateral.

Aos 35 anos de idade,

Lívia luta por sua sobrevivência

e pela criação de seus filhos,

com muita dificuldade,

pouquíssimos recursos

e com a ajuda de uma pequena

rede de acolhimento de alguns amigos.

Lívia Aparecida Paixão is a Black woman,

a single mother of two children (ages 2 and 7), living in the outskirts of São Paulo.She has profound bilateral deafness.

At 35 years old, Lívia struggles to survive and raise her children with great difficulty, very limited resources, and the support of a small network of caring friends.
